When you donate to ALIG, the office will send you a receipt by email, which you can use for a tax deduction of 50% under section 80G of Indian income tax act, 1961. This tax deduction is applicable to only Indian citizens. As per Indian tax laws, it is required to have the full name and address of the sponsor on the receipt, else the donation will be treated as anonymous and will be subject to taxation.
